These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
claim.vet provides technology tools and software services. claim.vet is not a VA-accredited claims agent or attorney and does not provide claims representation services.
Agency subscribers (VSOs, nonprofits, and veteran-serving organizations) who use claim.vet to assist veterans with VA claims must independently maintain all required VA accreditation under 38 CFR Part 14. claim.vet is a technology platform only — Agency subscribers are solely responsible for ensuring their use of claim.vet complies with all applicable laws, VA regulations, and accreditation requirements. Providing VA claims assistance without required accreditation may violate federal law. claim.vet bears no responsibility for any unaccredited use of its platform to assist with VA claims.
claim.vet operates a lead generation marketplace that provides veteran contact information ("Leads") to qualified professional buyers. By registering as a lead buyer and checking the certification box at registration, you represent and warrant that:
Prohibited uses. Lead contact information may not be used for: (a) providing VA claims representation without current VA accreditation; (b) resale or redistribution to third parties; (c) any purpose not disclosed at registration. Violation of these restrictions is grounds for immediate account termination and may result in legal action.
No guarantee of accuracy. Lead information is based on veteran self-reporting and has not been independently verified by claim.vet. Buyers purchase Leads as-is and assume all risk as to accuracy and fitness for purpose.
Limitation of liability. claim.vet is a neutral technology platform connecting veterans with professional service providers. claim.vet does not endorse, supervise, or guarantee the services of any Lead buyer. claim.vet is not liable for any harm arising from a buyer's use of Lead information, including any violation of 38 USC 5904 or any other law by a buyer. Buyers indemnify claim.vet against any claim arising from their use of Leads.
claim.vet is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older, or for minor dependents of veterans using the service under parental or guardian supervision. By creating an account or using claim.vet, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or are a minor using the service under appropriate adult supervision. claim.vet does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information without parental consent, contact us at hello@claim.vet and we will delete it promptly.
