Acceptance of Terms

By using claim.vet, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. We may update these terms occasionally — continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

What claim.vet Is

claim.vet is an AI-powered information and navigation tool that helps U.S. veterans, caregivers, and military families:

• Understand what VA benefits and programs they may qualify for
• Complete VA forms with guided assistance
• Access information about mental health resources, housing, education, and career transition

What claim.vet Is NOT

This is important. claim.vet is not:

• Not a law firm — we do not provide legal advice or legal representation
• Not a medical provider — we do not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment
• Not a government agency — we are not affiliated with the VA, DoD, or any federal or state agency
• Not a crisis service — do not use claim.vet if you are in immediate danger or mental health crisis
• Not a substitute for a VSO or attorney — for complex claims or appeals, we strongly recommend working with an accredited VSO or VA-accredited attorney

Information provided by claim.vet is for general guidance only. Benefit eligibility rules change frequently. Always verify important decisions with the VA directly or an accredited representative.

No Warranties

claim.vet is provided "as is." We make no guarantees that:

• The AI guidance is complete, accurate, or current
• Forms completed with our assistance will be accepted by the VA
• You will receive any particular benefit as a result of using our service
• The service will be available without interruption

VA benefit rules are complex and change often. Always confirm eligibility and requirements directly with the VA or an accredited VSO before submitting any claim.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, claim.vet and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any denied claims, delayed benefits, or reliance on AI-generated guidance.

Crisis Situations

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or is in immediate danger, please stop and contact emergency services or the Veterans Crisis Line immediately:

• Emergency: 911

Our AI is designed to detect crisis signals and refer you to the Veterans Crisis Line. However, it is not a substitute for trained crisis counselors.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We use magic-link email authentication — no passwords. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@claim.vet.

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use claim.vet to submit fraudulent VA claims
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our AI API
• Impersonate veterans or other users
• Use the service for any purpose other than legitimate benefits navigation

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, protect, and handle your information.

Changes to the Service

We may modify or discontinue claim.vet at any time. We'll do our best to provide notice of significant changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
